EXTRAORDINARY MEETING IN SHEEN VILLAGE HALL on

STAFFORDSHIRE KNOT COMMUNITY MEETING

This is a fact finding meeting, to see how we, as a community, proceed, to purchase The Staffordshire Knot .

As you are all aware, King Charles 111, is being crowned on 6th May 2023. We are ordering commemorative mugs, as in previous celebrations. If anyone would like to order one, at a cost of £12.00 each. Please contact myself, Pat Sutton on 07974 362676, or Pam Belfield on 01298 84809.

 

Local Council/Parish Election are on 4th May 2023. Anyone requiring Nomination Forms, can apply to SMDC, Stockwell Street, Leek. Information in the Notice below.

Due to the very sad death of our Chairman, There is a vacancy on Sheen Parish Council. Anyone wishing to join us, please apply by email or letter, to either ; Pat Sutton, Clerk or Pam Belfield, Chair. Or you could come to our next meeting, which is on Weds, 11th May 2022 at 7.00pm in the village hall.

 

 

 

We are all, slowly, trying to get back to some sort of normality. Below is a rundown of things that are happening in October.

 

We are very sad to report the death of our Chairman, Mr Alan Blackhurst.. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, at this very sad time.. RIP  Alan, you will be greatly missed, a real village character lost, but never forgotten.

The funeral of Mr Alan Blackhurst took place on 21st September 2021, at St. Luke’s Church, Sheen, followed by internment in the Churchyard.  A very sad day, but he will be remembered fondly by many, with a smile on our faces.   A true character.         R.I.P  Alan.   At peace now.
